Bisakah kita belajar Bahasa Inggris lewat Game? Tentu saja! Game berbasis pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ataupun video game pada umumnya dapat membantu dalam memahami dan menguasai bahasa lebih cepat. Studi penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa video game mampu meningkatkan pembelajaran tradisional bahasa Inggris dan memahami bahasa Inggris menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Namun, jika tidak dibandingi dengan fondasi kuat dari pembelajaran kosakata dan tata bahasa yang disediakan oleh pembelajaran pada umumnya, tentu saja kita tidak bisa belajar bahasa Inggris hanya menggunakan game saja. Akan tetapi jika keduanya digabungkan antara game dan pembelajaran konvensional, akan tercipta suatu harmoni yang menciptakan pembelajaran bahasa yang lebih beragam.        Heyo semuanya, balik lagi di blog serba guna, serba ada, dan serba bahasa (semuanya self-proclaimed, btw) milik saya ini. Mobile phone is one of the most important things in the world right now. Imagine if you start a day without grabbing your phone, you might feel empty and feel like you are experiencing what stone age is. For me, mobile phone isn’t that important because i usually just use my laptop to do my daily works, even though a laptop is not as mobile as phone. I rather use laptop because it gives me more functions that phones could do. For example, if i want to write something such as email, most of the time i wrote it with laptop because laptop has large keyboard and monitor so i could minimize the typo. Phone has small keyboards (for your information, i have large fingers) so everytime i write something, its horrible. People would argue which one is better, a laptop or a phone. Some could say its laptop because it has more function than phone, but the other will say that phone has better mobility and gives quite numerous function for a small object. There are so many things that happened while i grew up. Some of them are funny, stupid, weird, and don't have any context because i was very young at that time and probably don't remember very clear about my childhood. I will describe 2 of the childhood memories that come to my mind recently. Let's just jump into it. When i was a child, my physical appearance is quite good. I can run quite fast, and i also a bit taller than any child in my neighborhood. I have this distinct memory when i was 5 at that time, i decided to make a loop around my neighborhood by running on my foot (yes, without any footwear because i was stupid at that time) and then i fell down because one little pebble hit the bottom of my foot. For those who do not know what "Procrastination" is, procrastination is an act of avoiding or postponing task that should be accomplished. Procrastination can be described as an intentional delay form oneself of doing a task despite that it has negative effects.      Every human being in this world have a weird feeling when they are afraid of something or when they perceive a threat. That feeling is what we called "Fear" and this feeling has helped human survive since the beginning of the time. Our ancestors survive until now because they are afraid that something is lurking in the dark or when something unknown is aproaching them, and then they ran away from it. Fear is not just a scary feeling, it is what helped us survive. Fear can lead us to run away, hide, sweating, or even passing out.           All children who live in the 90's and have access to Game Boy console must have known about Pokemon up until now. The first Pokemon game released in 1996 was considered as the greatest game ever made by game developer. Every people in the world have experienced a kind of feeling of sadness or loss of interest over something. That feeling is called depression or major depressive disorder.       A year ago when i was enjoying my holiday, my friend and i decided to play a game which is Counter Strike : Global Offensive or better known as CS:GO. My friend Farhan and i jump straight into a competitive matchmaking. Competitive matchmaking is a game mode in CS:GO where the game separates the player (which is 10 players,so it is 5v5) into 2 teams, Counter Terrorist Team and Terrorist Team. We can speak through our microphone to inform our teammates about any information we get to defeat the opposing team. You can queue alone or play with some friends if you have any. In my case, we only have 2 people queueing so the game adds 3 more random player to our team. By random, i mean, completely random. You can meet people (in game, of course) from your current region. College life is not as easy as many highschoolers think. Being a college student means that you have more responsibilities in your life. In a college, you must throw all of your "high school thinking" away and be more adult. A college student are given more assignment compared to high school student and given less time to finish it. Back to my blog, huh? Now i want to tell you guys about my life experience I was born at year 1999. The very first memory i remember as a child was at 2003 when i was 3 or 4 years old. Specifically, when i was 4 my mother taught me "Iqro" and that memory is the very first i can remember. I have 2 childhood friends when i was 4 years old called Rara and Haris. These 2 kids were the only friend i have when i was 4 years old. When my age reached 5, my mother put me in a kindergarten. Age of 5 was the time when i have more than 10 friends. Also at that time, i can already read without being taught first at the kindergarten. My mother taught me to read latin alphabet and hijaiyah when i was 4 years old.
